Polytrauma refers to multiple traumatic injuries, often a result of motor – vehicle crashes or road accidents on the scale of 16 as per Injury Security Score (ISS). A polytrauma patient needs immediate and excessive care to avoid any further loss or damage to their bodily condition. Apart from first aid, these patients need a hospital care as soon as possible.
